Why Print ?

We are taking more photos than ever before, yet we aren't printing them. Our images are staying on our phones, hard drives and sitting in drawers on CD-roms. We are are guilty of this.

A friend, Pete Rezac, recently posted a photo of a floppy disc, a DVD, and a printed wedding photograph and posed the questions:  "Which one is future proofed?  Won't accidentally be thrown away?  Doesn't require obsolute technology to enjoy?  Yes,the PRINT!"

We all need to do better - to make printing part of our picture-taking workflow.  There is a whole movement to try to help us save our memories:  PRINT. The Movement.  It was created by Professional Photographers of America, which I have been a member of since 2015.

All printing methods are not created equal, however.  I would not use Walmart, or your local drugstore to print.  To preserve your photos you need to use a high-quality lab.  When I send you your gallery of family photos you will be able to order archival quality photographs right from my website. All prints come from my professional photo lab that's only used by professional photographers. They will not fade over time and the colors (especially skin tones) will be correct. Prints start at just $5.  You will also have the digital files from your session and I encourage you to back those up in at least 2 places.  And you are of course welcome to print your photos yourself and I'm happy to suggest a good option for that.

Print your photos, share your photos, and display your photos where you can see them!
